Kevin Lynn, Founder
Roger Ross, Policy Advisor
Kevin Lynn is the Executive Director of Progressives for Immigration Reform and Founder of U.S. Tech Workers. He created U.S. Tech Workers to focus more attention on the role that abuse of America’s nonimmigrant employment visa system was having on skilled white-collar workers.
Since founding U.S. Tech Workers, Lynn has coached and encouraged workers around the country to take collective action that has led to the defeat of legislation that would have been very detrimental to tech workers. As well, Lynn’s outreach programs have led to the passage of executive orders and proclamations.
Over a multi-faceted career, Lynn has worked with start-up technology companies and in business development for some of the world’s largest tax and accounting firms. He was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and worked as a Director with Ryan, Inc. in their property tax practice. He also served as an Army officer in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Commissioned a Second Lieutenant following graduation from Kemper Military College, Lynn ended military service in the rank of Captain.
Actively involved in politics through the years, Lynn has organized groups in Arizona, California and Texas, and worked on presidential campaigns and with the California Democratic Party.
Raised on a small farm in Pennsylvania, Lynn is committed to the preservation of farmlands and historic buildings.
Roger Ross is a Silicon Valley tech worker and serves as a policy advisor for U.S. Tech Workers. As an immigrant who has gone through the arduous, broken legal immigration system, Ross advocates for meaningful changes to the laws surrounding work visas so that they better protect American workers and do not exploit guest workers on visas.
Ross holds a graduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and has a background in finance and economics.
